This course provides a survey of theory and practice of leadership in the organization. Topics covered include: leadership behavior, theories of leadership effectiveness, delegation, empowerment, power and influence, contingency theories of leadership, charismatic and transformational theories of leadership, participative leadership, leading change in organizations, leadership in teams and decision making groups, leadership training and development, and learning organizations.
